I am writing a children’s book, I have two grandchildren to read it to. R.Pinckney

I am writing a story book for children about teasel creatures.
They are the collectible animals that I craft from the seedpod
of the teasel plant. I am having fun, but I have a very long
way to go before the book gets published.
It is a long and strange journey, but I hope to have a book that
I can sell at the farmer’s markets where I sell my flowers and
my other crafts.

A new post and a new start…

I am posting this after I erased an entire theme and had to begin all over again.
Rats! I hope that I can remember how I blogged yesterday so that I can do it again
tomorrow.

Beginning the teasel creature adventure

Hello, this is the second day of my blog on teasel creatures. The seedpod is the focus of my hobby. I make collectible animal creatures from them. I sell them
online through my account on Etsy at creativecrafts49@etsy.com and at a local farmer’s market in the spring, summer, and fall seasons of the year. During the winter months I sell them as Christmas ornaments at local craft fairs and bazaars. In the month of December I attended the Chattahoochee Nature Center’s Back to Nature Bazaar and sold a bunch of teasel creatures with “elf caps”.

I have won an award from the National Herb Society for them. They won first place last year in their first annual contest of homemade Christmas ornaments.
That’s all for today.
